The Paleozoic shark Orestiacanthus fergusi and other bony fishes of the Bear Gulch Limestone.

The Carboniferous period ~318 million years ago.The Bear Gulch Limestone of Montana was a tropical marine bay in The diversity of fish fauna of the Bear Gulch Limestone was very high.

At the center of the picture displayed a bizarre ancient shark Orestiacanthus fergusi. On the right shows a flock of ancient fishes Kalops diophrys, the unusual fish on the left - Aesopichthys erinaceus. Right at the top of the picture you can see ancient fishes Guildayichthys carnegiei and ammonites Anthracoceras, left at the top of the picture shows Orestiacanthus and a flock of Kalops diophrys.

For this picture, I made a 3D model of the Orestiacanthus fergusi on the basis of reconstruction by palaeontologists R. Lund and 3D model of the Kalops diophrys, on the basis of reconstruction by palaeontologists Poplin C. and R. Lund. Also on the basis of works by palaeontologists R. Lund and E. Grogan, I drew a fish's such as:Aesopichthys erinaceus, Guildayichthys carnegiei.
